"The Queens Favourite Sculptor”
- (Brian McDonald, Irish Independent)
The Artist - Rick Lewis

Artist to The Rich & Famous
Ricks skills burst forth from his paintings and sculptures on display in his gallery in The Neale and at Ashford Castle, Cong. An astonishing variety of styles and subject matter greet his visitors. You will find romantic renderings of woodlands and lakes beside vibrant studies of horses and polo ponies. A peregrine falcon glares across as a portrait of a beautiful young woman. A salmon leaps over the waters, wonderfully rendered of a river in full spate. (David Burke, Tuam Herald, Ireland)
“The personal tour of your home gallery was a dream come true for us. Your painting arrived safely and is hanging in our favourite room, already being admired by family and friends”. (Gregory & Julia, USA)
“Amazing and enlightening experience”. (J Rowley, Ireland).
The Apprentice - Nicola Lewis

Like father, like daughter
Rick Lewis Collections News - “The New Apprentice!”
Rick’s daughter Nicola has taken a considerable risk and decided to step away from her secure and corporate role to pursue her dreams. She returned to Ireland in November 2011 to start an exciting apprenticeship with her father. Rick was the apprentice of the master ceramic painter Harry Davis at Royal Worcester (1965-69) and now Rick will be passing on this knowledge to Nicola. The true art of ceramic painting will now flourish in the next generation.
